In-House Marketing
Long before the current consolidation and cost reduction measures taking place in the Oil and Gas Industry, HighPoint Energy has been helping our clients save money and reduce headcounts by serving as an “in house marketer”. Even larger E&P and midstream companies have a difficult time justifying the expense of having their own internal energy marketing personnel to trade, schedule, and balance their energy product portfolio. Over the last decade, the Energy Industry witnessed the proliferation of dozens of private equity-backed midstream “portfolio” companies. While there have been many great success stories, several of these portfolio companies either failed to gain traction, or simply faded away leaving the capital provider with nothing to show for its investment of time and capital.
As an alternative to traditional and expensive business development efforts, HighPoint offers an intense, highly targeted supply aggregation strategy to supplement a midstream provider’s business development team. When a midstream company wants to expand its footprint or meet a volume commitment for its natural gas or crude volume, HighPoint knows how to successfully and quickly aggregate volumes.
